   Hello,

   I'd like to host the wordpress script and be able to upload video to my server for the video post. I see you have a plug-in called videopress but from the information it sound like you guys would still be hosting the videos. Is there a way I can use wordpress/videos press and host my own videos?

   Any help appreciated!

   cant you just choose the upload video icon from the uploader menu and upload the video that way?

   From what I've read the videopress plugin requires your to buy space on their servers.

   The video has to be on Wordpress.com with the videopress upgrade.

   You can either use the hosted VideoPress.com option which is a paid upgrade, or run your own since the video platform is Open Source: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpresscom-video-server/
