[Plugin: WP-SpamFree Anti-Spam] Spam Free proxy errors

    Spam Free is blocking comments sent by regular commenters who are NOT using proxies. But it’s generating an error msg. telling the commenters that it detected a proxy & denied publication.

    Is anyone having this problem & other than turning off the proxy setting is there anything one can do to fix this?

    Hey Richard,

    You can go ahead and just turn on the option to not block proxies. It’s likely not making a mistake in detecting a proxy. It’s just that in some rare cases, ISP’s setup a user to run through a proxy without them even doing anything actively. It’s not the best practice IMO for them to do that. But it does happen on occasion so you have the option to allow proxy users.
