   Hi,

   i just upgraded my wordpress from the previous version to 2.8
   I have 3 wordpress blogs, 3 of them work just fine, but with one of them i have a lot of problems.

   The automatic upgrade option for plugins and wordpress upgrade doesn't work. It requires my password (the other 3 sites upgrade without having to write my password every time). Until now it worked only from time to time, now with the 2.8 version it doesn't work at all (either i get errors, or it loads and loads and loads.. but does nothing in the end).

   When i write a post, i cannot add a new category from the new post. I also cannot add tags (not even choose from the popular tags).

   In the admin panel, where I have my list of posts, i cannot Quick Edit. It doesn't work..
   Also, the Help button doesn't do anything.

   I verified the files, i upgraded wordpress manually and still it has a lot of problems.

   I cannot understand why and don't know what to do. Can someone please give me an idea?

   Did you delete wp-admin and wp-includes before upgrading manually and try it with no plugins and the default theme? Any JS errors? Here are some troubleshooting steps http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279132

   I found the cause of all these errors.
   It was the "Category Icons" plugin. All the other plugins work just fine, but this one caused problems.
   Thank you for your help :)

   Install the latest version of the Category Icons plugin in order to solve the problem.
