WordPress 2.8 Major Bug Or I am Stupid? Either Way Have a look ;-)

Hiya,

I have been using wordpress for years so, I have looked and tried everything before I posted this….I think….

So I Like the new “code editor” in theme theme editor but there seems to be some sort of bug or I just got stupid, and I am guessing its the second but here is what is happening to me,

Lets say I “edit” single.php and drop in this code:

<?php if (function_exists('sociable_html')) {
  echo sociable_html();
} ?>

When I hit “update” file and the single.php file reloads everything after that code I entered plus that code vanishes….

If I add dives etc that is fine, but of I add that function call everything gets erased,

With 2.7.1 I never had this issue….

Anyone know what this is?
