   I'm a newbie - I want to downgrade back to 2.7.1 Which folders do I need to switch out to do that? Also, how can I make sure the dashboard reads 2.7.1? Thanks!

   The most surefire way is to export all posts, reinstall WordPress 2.7.1 and then import them again.

   But why do you want to downgrade? What's wrong with WP 2.8?

   I want to downgrade because I can't get the media buttons to work. They're there, but you can't click on them. Have even reinstalled WP to no avail. Have also troubleshooted my installed plugins...

   i tried downgrading back to 2.7 but I couldn't. I kept getting an "upgrade to wordpress 2.8" all huge in my screen. :/

   2.8 is difficult. i haven't found any good magazine style themes that are compatible with it. & my website is down because the one I use to have didn't work anymore when I upgraded in the first place. :(

   Yeah I use the arthemia template and my site is down because I upgraded to 2.8 and now I can't view any categories and all of my tags have been removed this is not good for my magazine at all.
