[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Gallery: Large Image hidden under sidebar

We are using a custom theme. The sidebar floats on top due to positioning requirements.

When you click on one of the thumbnails the large image is partially hidden behind the sidebar. I’ve tried adjusting the z-index (sidebar and gallery), but am not having any luck.

Any ideas?
