2.8 Won’t Allow Widgets to be Added

    Can I go back to 2.7? While I can delete widgets, I can’t add them any more!!!!! The new interface was supposedly designed to enable drag-and-drop functionality, but it certainly does not work! Can I add widgets with a menu?

    Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one – checking the Widget area after each re-activation – until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    I am having the same issue, in IE, FF, and Chrome.

    New install of site and currently using Thesis theme with just OpenHook installed.

    Have you tried deactivating OpenHook? And/or switching themes?
