   When I try to export my blog via the Export function, the resulting file is empty. Whether I select all authors (though I am the only one) or just my name, the result is the same: an empty file.

   I have had this problem for a long time. I was hoping 2.8 would solve it, but it does not.

   What is the problem?

   centepines,

   The problem was that the PHP.INI file did not have enough time allocated to allow the script to complete. Increasing the max timeout limit (by a factor of 10) made the difference.
