   I just upgraded to WP 2.8 and a feature I need and have been using has been changed. I registered multiple users with my email address so that I can publish the written work of several ministers in my church under their own names. Apparently, 2.8 will not allow it. Is there a fix?

   I am having the same issue. For my company we have multiple authors shown but all of the blogs are added to our blog from our internal employees to allow for proofreading and image adding.

   We just created a new brand site and need to add authors and now I cannot have them all under the same email address anymore. Is there a way around this?

   Right, I just found we too are having this extremely frustrating problem! Does anyone have a solution to creating multiple users with the same email address?

   Sorry to bump, but this is a critical problem for me. Does anyone know if WordPress will be changing this or providing an option in the future to allow multiple users with the same email address?

   Ah, wait... no, it does not work after we upgrade WP to Version 2.8.4.......

   5 minutes ago it was fine, but after the quick upgrade, it's broken. :(

   I don't think you need to register multiple users under the same email. As an editor or an administrator, you can change the author for each post. When you are editing a post, scroll all the way to the bottom, as long as you have the appropriate permissions, you will see a block called "Post Author" with a drop-down list of all the possible authors. Just pick the one you want.
   As a manager of a multi-user site, I also find this plug-in invaluable: http://lud.icro.us/wordpress-plugin-user-switching/
   It allows the administrator to switch to any of your users with a click, and then switch back to the admin.
   Hope this helps.

   Thanks @pagevm, but this does not solve our problem. In some instances we muct have multiple users with the same email address.... :(
