   Good day,
   I am not getting any category pages returned as results. I have custom category pages (ex. category-1.php) but am doing searching for the category name, not content. Any thoughts?

   Hello,

   The basic Wordpress search is searching for posts.

   The Search Everything plugin extends the parts of posts you can seach but it still search for posts.

   An other point is that the normal search result page is made to display posts and not categories.
   The Search Everything plugin doesn't modify the standard search result page.

   I don't know if there is a plugin that is searching for categories (or tag).
