2.8RC1 - Dashboard side boxes won't expand/collapse in dashboard (8 posts)

Maybe it's just me but when I'm at /wp-admin (main page of dashboard) and when I click the downwards-pointing triangle at the side boxes (eg posts, media, link, etc) it won't expand/collapse. If I click on the link itself (eg posts which is /wp-admin/edit.php) and at the new page I click on the triangles, it can expand/collapse this time. Think it's a bug.

    Anybody having this too?

Are you running Firefox 3.5 beta 99 by any chance? I have a similar problem in WordPress 2.7.1, but it's only in the FF beta, so it's a browser issue, I assume.

    Nope not beta. It's Firefox 3.0.10 stable builds or (for the technical)Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10 GTB5

    Not for me... :(

I am also having this problem with WP 2.8 Final. And with both Firefox 3.0.10 and IE 8.0.

    Any ideas?

I've got the same problem (collapsed side boxes) with WP 2.8, running Firefox 3.0

If I click one of the side items though the resulting page shows the boxes expanded, its just form the initial dashboard load or any subsequent dashboard link click where they're collapsed.

PS. I just realized this topic was about 2.8RC1, I'm on 2.8 final

I'm having the same problem in WP 2.8 final as well.

Ah, fixed it in WP 2.8 final -- I just reuploaded the 2.8 files manually (as opposed to the previous automated installation). Success!
