I’m on a Mac and mostly use FireFox without problems. I just attempted using Safari on one of my installs and it’s working fine with the same version.
I’m curious if you are able to actually upload the file or if you’re getting more of a permissions error. Have you verified that the file actually did get uploaded in the wp-content folder?
Thank you.
I just can’t upload the file but I don’t get any permissions error. It seems like the file is uploading but when everything is done, it apears on the leftinstead the picture, a blue question mark…and the rest of the menu: to put the title and information, enlarge the picture, etc.
The file seems to finalliy get uploaded, description, name, but it appears the question mark… it seems like I’m doing somethig wrong..
Try going directly to the file in your address bar to see if it actually uploaded. Several of my past installs needed permissions changes in order for this feature to work properly. Sometimes it worked out of the box, others it just didn’t.
I cheked the adress and the image wasn’t there.
How do you change the permissions?
Thanks!
Check out this WordPress Codex page. For uploading images. There is a link about file permissions there. Read through it so you understand how they work. You’ll then need to update the permissions on the wp-content/uploads directory to 755.
