Hard crash upon page load in IE6 & IE7 - tested on three boxes. Don't know about IE8--deactivated as soon as I found what was preventing all access to the blog. FireFox 3.0.10 loaded the page fine (big surprise).

I have it working on IE6, IE7 and IE8. Tested on all of them numerous times. It's most likely a conflict with another plugin. If we can narrow it down I can provide a fix on my end.

I've just encounted the same problem.

Its DISQUS. 100% sure, went through all the plug ins.

Nothing but the header shows up when you use DISQUS and Lightbox Plus are both activated in IE8.

I've actually de-activated DISQUS becasue I can't stand being without this beautiful Lightbox with custom css.

Will very eagerly await the fix, and thanks for all your work on this efficient, useful plugin.

Lightbox Plus has been updated to version 1.5.1 which uses and entirely different method for implementing the lightbox itself. It's based a jQuery plugin and should be able to be chained with other jQuery based plugins without issue at this time.

I've got the newest version of the Lightbox Plus plugin (1.5.3.1). Everything seemed to run fine, until I checked my IE page loading time. While Firefox and Chrome take 1 or 2 seconds to load a page, IE takes 10. After some testing I discovered it was the Lightbox Plus plugin that was causing the delay.

I hope you'll come up with a fix, since this is the fastest (and most beautiful) lightbox plugin out there.

Maybe IE isn't able to handle the jQuery?

IE does a lot of weird things. What version of IE? I've tried it with all versions and 6 is finicky but 7 and 8 have worked fine. IE is much slower with handling JS than Chome, Safari or Firefox.
