When downloading my site, my virus software found a file named CACHE.PHP with a notice that it may be a possible back-door object.
I'm thankful that I found this, but does WP use a file named cache.php?
Lastly, how did this file get onto my site? Any ideas?

There's a cache.php file in the wp-includes folder.

I just went hunting and found one in my plugins folder -- I think relating to a Cache plugin. I renamed it, and things are still chugging-along.
