I know how to schedule the publication of a new page or post for sometime in the future, but does anybody know of a way to schedule the updating of an existing page for sometime in the future? Like at 5:00am when my company's press releases need to go live? : (
Right now I can schedule the release itself to go live at that time, but need to crawl out of bed to manually update the home page, press release archive page, etc.

greg,
Are you using a static home page and then have to manually update it?
Otherwise, a published post usually automatically appears on the home page.

Hi,
Just wanted to ask the same question really - is it possible to schedule the update of a static page?
Thanks.

This would be a great feature to have.
I've created a theme which uses custom taxonomies and custom fields to give editors control over where and how posts are displayed. However it means getting new content on the home page requires a lot of custom taxonomies being shuffled around in predictable ways. Being able to schedule this would be wonderful.

I created a feature request ticket for this: http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/10834
