Popular Post Doesn't Show Up? All others do? :*( (7 posts)

    The post below stopped showing up recently. I contacted my hosting company already and they killed cron jobs, cleaned and repaired the database, and ensured there were no security blocks on their end.

    The post has about 230 comments and receives traffic daily and all other posts on the site work.

    Can anyone help? :)

    Things I have tried:
    - repair wp database
    - killed cron jobs
    - called hosting company ensure no blocks
    - replaced all of post code with "rr" and still unable to see it

    Have you recently activated a recaptcha plugin? There's a whole block of code missing after the call to that plugin's stylesheet - including important things like </head> and <body>.

    Deactivate that plugin. If that doesn't work, deactivate all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one - checking the post after each re-activation - until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    Esmi, awesome advice!

    I deativated/activated all of the plug-ins and it was:

    Kimili Flash Embed - Plug-in giving me problems for that particular post.

    If I deactivate the Kimili plug-in all others post will not work, but this post will. If I activate the plug-in all other post work, and this one will not.

    So now this has turned to a Kimili Flash Embed plug-in issue.

    I am using this link, for the Thumbnail: and swf inputs:
    /games/epic_pet_wars_logo.jpg

    Can anyone help with this problem?

    Ok I just thought about what changed from when the post was working and when it was not... and all I could think of was the number of posts people had entered.

    So I just took off about 20 comments and not the post is working.

    Not sure if it was the 'Kimili Flash Embed - Plug-in' in combination with comments on the post over 230 comments or something else....but we are up and running again!

    Did you get any new comments that pushed it over the 200-210 comment threshold?

    No, it must be something besides the comments. I am loosing to much traffic bc of the error so I am just forwarding the traffic to the page to a new similar post. :( At this point I have no idea what the problem is.
