   Hi all.

   Suppose I want to add images for publicity to the main page of my blog, and I want them to be placed like the images that are below the search bar at http://michael.tyson.id.au/wordpress/themes/elegant-grunge/

   where do I have to concentrate in the code in order to do this?

   I'm new to wordpress and, consequently, new to this wonderful theme, but I have some php, css, and html skills.

   you can edit the code manually in the theme's sidebar.php
   or
   use the sidebar text widget
   admin - appearance - widgets
