  • Hey,

I must say, I’m not a great “table-based-layout” person, but that being said, this is what I’d do:

Create a sidebar for each one of the blue boxes. The headings, “Cities”, “Events”, and “Specials” seem like ready-made categories. Users could submit content in the form of posts and/or pages under those headings, and it would provide great capability to expand those listings as your site grows. You could widgetize the sidebars, or just simply use function tags to arrange things.

You could also use the “Text Widget” for arbitrary text or HTML in the widgetized sidebars.

This may not be what you have in mind, but it might suffice if you don’t find another solution.

Hey 11, that’s a great solution. I agree that it’s probably not the best from the syntax standpoint, but it can suffice in the mean time.

Anyone else know of maybe a more “proper” way of doing this? Thanks!

I ran across this post yesterday. It might give you another direction, particularly the “Improved Include Page” plugin.

That plugin seems only to include static pages. I need a way to just split the navigation into two menus. Thanks!
