I'm trying to get the ICS calendar plugin to work on my website.
It works great on my own private server (which runs Fedora 10 with the latest updates, it has PHP 5.2.9).

However, when I use exactly the same settings on the site at my webhost I receive the following error on the webpage itself:

Your ICS file is unable to update.

The error on the dashboard is a bit different when I refresh the cache:

    iCal Events: Error loading [www.sacramentskoor.nl/diensten.ics]

I tried using a fresh Wordpress 2.7.1 install with only the ICS calendar plugin installed. Same error.
I changed the relevant directories (wp-content/ics-importer-cache and even wp-content/uploads) to '777' permission, but still get the same error.

The ICS-file I'm trying to display is readable: check here
The error can be seen here

No errors show up in the server-logs. My webhost uses PHP version 4.4.4.

Does anybody have any idea how I can solve this problem?

Solved the problem myself, it's related to this bug:
    http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/8622

Not a problem with ICS Calendar.

I solved it by installing the plugin core-control and disabling cURL as external HTTP access transport.
