• Hi,

I’d like to know if there’s a way to paginate the authors list. I’m going to have 100+ author avatars.

    Thanks.

    Hi Josh,

Sorry, there is no way to paginate author lists at the moment. The plugin was initially built to for example display the 10-15 “blog contributors” and I’m afraid this goes a bit beyond that initial purpose.

With that number of avatars there’s also performance issues that we’d have to solve first; at the moment the full list of users is loaded on each page-load.

I am afraid this is not going onto my todo list right now but if you know a developer who’d like to take a look at this I’m happy to provide assistance and help with the integration…

Hi ben, why avatars appear sometimes and sometimes not for the same people who writes in my blog in comment.

When people post comments when they’re not logged in or when the theme isn’t set up properly to use information from logged-in users then people have to enter an email address manually. That email address is what’s used to get avatars from gravatar.com; if it’s different than the one set up in a user account then you might get a different avatar…

That’s just an idea, without more information from your end I can’t really say much more.
