• Like asclarke’s post below, I’m finding this won’t work at all in firefox (current version although I’ve been trying for multiple versions now, java stuff installed etc etc) but will work in Safari. It lists the categories and the number of links correctly but will not open the categories to reveal the links.

I’m glad that it seems to be working for some, but unless I can feel confident it works across all/most current browsers, I can’t put it on my site. I really need something like this so I hope the issue can be resolved.

I did turn on the bug reporting and saw nothing showing in the source code. Suggestions gladly accepted.

  • Could you post a link to your site? I do most of my testing in Firefox, and my site seems to work fine in firefox (blog.robfelty.com)

    Rob

Collapsing Categories is exactly what I need.

My problem is that Collapsing Categories does not seem to pull from the database at all. No categories or posts are listed regardless of the settings.

    site is http://www.chicagowindowexpert.com

    Thank you

well, no matter what I choose for options – it simply does NOT expand anything,
I tried every which way [ and yes, I have parent and sub selected.
    So – it’s useless.
It shows the number of sub categorized and posts but the expander simply does nothing. Hovering over it looks like it would – but it does not do anything – it simply shows the 5 main categories I have like static text, thats all. The categories this way are ofcourse not even links – so, I have to scrap that entire thing.

I have the latest version of WP, just installed the latest version of this plugin – so, there should not be any conflict whatsoever. :(:(:(

I give up after trying for more than 2 hours to get this to work.
