You can add multiple images at once, I believe – by highlighting more than one in the Upload window.
Yes i know, my problem is not uploading them, i do it with all at once. The problem is at the insert into post time. I cant insert more than one without closing the window.
That is because you need to tell WP which image you want inserted, where, what size, alignment, etc. for each photo – all important information. I don’t think that takes too much time does it?
kmessinger, its not really a hard work, but if i like to have a post with, lets say, 25 full size pictures and dont like to use the gallery function, its really a pain to insert all pictures on the post. One by one i have to open the “add image” window to insert each.
It would be much more easier if the window wont close after i click on “insert into post” and allow me to insert more images.
I’m in the same boat. I want to insert a gallery, like this guy:
http://michael.tyson.id.au/photoblog/
But I don’t want to insert each photo individually, like @crismdq said. Thoughts?
@hahicken – well that link goes to a gallery which can be done in WordPress already.
@crismdq – What you’re asking for is possible through a plugin called Faster Image Insert. When you upload your images and go to the media library tab there are now tick boxes next to each image. Just tick the ones you want and click the new button “Insert selected images” Volia that should save you lots of time!
