   I have an image category, and I use JavaScript for those images. The post only has JavaScript and the image so when it is showing related categories, it shows the code. This is what I don't want. Is there any way to only block an excerpt for some categories, but not all? So I can just block the excerpt for those articles that are in that category?

   Good question. If you use the new templating feature, you can write an if-statement which checks for the right categories (in PHP) and only display the excerpts in those cases. Check out the tutorial here:
