Im trying to insert images into my post, all quite large and align them to the left, this would be ok but tinymce keeps insisting on wrapping them in paragraphs, even when i edit the html, this is breaking the layout of my site, see here: http://www.niftythrifters.co.uk/out-and-about/ this looks fine in firefox but the text doesnt wrap in ie.
is there any way i can inset an image without having a paragraph forced round it? is there any tinymce settings i can change? I must note I have the TinyMCE advanced plug in, although I have tried changing settings such as turning off 'stop removing the p and br tags'
thanks

It's not the editor per se doing this but theWordPress autop formatting function
you can install a plugin
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-unformatted/
that lets you turn off the auto-formatting on a post by post basis.
read the plugin instructions for how to activate this on a post

thanks, for future reference how do people usually find these posts? (when offering advice not looking for help) by the tags or just browsing?
that would vary of course
i look through the posts, rarely look at tags. people like theme and plugin authors seem to look at tags to find references to their software
