   Hi i recently installed a new theme,The Gazette Edition and I can't get the featured slide show to work.It just shows the black box and the loading bar in it.I've uploaded the images both featured and thumb in thier right sizes and still can't get it to work.Please if anybody can help me out it would be really appreciated.The Url for my site is http://www.superbetlive.superscorelive.com/ It's still in its early phase.Thanks

   Now that i've got the featured slide show working i can't seem to get my posts to show on the homepage again.Anyone know what the problem could be.Url is http://www.superbetlive.superscorelive.com/.Thanks

   ssladmin,

   A little off-topic, but how did you get the shaded part of your gallery to only cover that much of the image? Our slideshow shader comes up and covers nearly half of the image! Thanks.

   I too have this issue. Can you share the steps you took to get it to work? It seems if I set

   showCarousel: true,

   then it will display the 'custom field' "image" but not "featured" or "thumb". Problem is, the previous designer/developer had showCarousel: false for a reason I think.

   I'm just not sure why its only showing the loading bar. I have 5 featured posts.

    can anyone help?
    then installed the plugins: YABP and D13slideshow and resolve the issue, but I know other people here in the forum to resolve and I think it was not so. it is a shame not to share! :(

    if someone has this problem, try to do what I did.
