I posted this question earlier in the troubleshooting forum, but I think that was the wrong place to post it.
Is it possible to change the update interval for FeedWordPress from 60 minutes to about 5 minutes, through settings or by changing the FWP code?
I know there is a setting that lets you change how often to check for feeds that are ready to be updated, but I need the feeds to be updated more frequently than just once an hour.
Thanks in advance!

I'd also like to be able to manually set this parameter, but in my case to more like every 500 minutes or more to reduce CPU load on my server.

Same here. I'd like to have an option to make it so that it only updates all of the feeds maybe once every four hours or so. It's a great plugin, but if you're syndicating from a lot of sources, it can be painfully slow.

After looking around, it appears that you can schedule a cron job to do this: http://feedwordpress.radgeek.com/wiki/scheduling-updates
