• I upgraded to advertising mgr, the upgrade went fine, but when I look at the ‘manage ad units’, I can see all the ads but I cannot see codes (before I was to able copy codes)…
Also, how the heck I insert ad units inside the posts that I have already published. I have tried. I do see drop down menu for ‘adsense’ in the ‘edit post’ area where I can select one of the ad units, but it does not appear on the post when I select it. Do I need to activate anything? Funny thing is that when I start a brand new post, I can see the ad units being added in the post body, but when I preview the post (still draft version), there is no ad dispalye, just blank.
    Thanks.

I am not sure that I understand, but I will try:

To see the ad code, under the ‘Ads’ menu, click on ‘Edit’. You will see a list of ads. Click on one of the ads, and you will see the properties of the ad. Scroll down to ‘Ad Code’ which is under the ‘Code’ menu. This is where the ad code lives. Note that for your ad networks, you can see and copy the code, but you cannot modify it (because it would screw up the ‘import code’ functionality). If you want to modify an ad, you need to re-import a new ad (by clicking on the ‘Create New’ menu item).

To add ads to your existing post, you can either edit the post and put in ‘[ad#name]’ where you want the ad to appear (where name is the name of your ad), or go to the post editor, make sure you are on the ‘HTML’ tab, place the cursor where you want your ad to appear, and click on the ‘Insert Ad’ dropdown (where the HTML fomatting buttons are) and select your ad.

I hope this helps. If you have any other specific questions, please let me know!

    Cheers,
    Scott
