   I'm debating between using wp-hive or WPMU for a small student blog network and this might be exactly what I'm looking for to bring in elements from the rest of the network on the main blog site. But if this is specifically for separate databases, I'm assuming it wouldn't work for wp-hive? (those multiple installs share the same database) is there any glaring reason why this wouldn't work for MU?

   hi there,
   I am the developer of the plugin. The connect2site plugin connects to a single database. It does a custom query outside any loop and fetches the results using various criteria. I haven't tested it with MU. I guess there are some differences with standard WP. I will check it out.

   Unfortunately it does not work with WPMU.
