protected downloads

    I have a client that wants a mixtapes page where people can download music – for free. I’ve already got a great mp3 player with links on each song that I can use for download links…. how can i make it so only registered users are able to download music, or anything else?

    I’m new to wordpress but my experience making websites manually is helping me figure out alot fairly quickly… I found a plug that lets me determine levels of membership and content (memberwing I think).

    Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    My client scenario is identical and just a coincidence with your name his website’s domain name is: http://slimetheghost.com/

    Did you ever find how to do this SlimmyWang? If so, do tell. If not then my question to supporters would be, even protecting content for a specific user type, can anyone still just type in a hard link/address to one of my clients mp3’s and download it for free?
