When I try to automatically update, it fails. I have deleted automatic WP upgrade from my files and deactivated all plug-ins but it still refused to update. I have searched the forum and the web for answers.
Anyone have an idea why the upgrade can't copy this wp-admin file. (It exsists. I saw it.)
Is your host listed in Core_Update_Host_Compatibility?
If necessary you may have to follow the Upgrading WordPress instructions.

How does a host become compatible? My host is aiso.net. Is this why this particular file could not be copied?
Those hosts were added by members of the WordPress community that had success with the automatic upgrade process.

I too have a failed upgrade - but the issue is obviously not that of the host. It is my server. I host dozens of web sites, and roughly 6 are WPs. I had no problem upgrading 5. One returns the same error as above.
