Went from 2.7 to 2.7.1, and visually the whole site went to hell. Site is now floated to the left as opposed to the middle, and missing are lots of subtle padding and margin widths...
Considering I have no idea what went wrong, I'm having to upload a 400mb backup right now just to fix it.

I mentioned this in another forum with K2 issues but there were changes made to the JQuery libraries which broke the theme. People are complaining of the same things you are. For K2, they upgraded the theme to the latest nightly build.
There probably isn't a need for you to restore your entire site; just the WordPress code itself. Or... just have the theme author fix the JScript.

Yeah I realized that. I was in the middle of making a backup when it happened so I figured that would be easiest, but I just found a copy of 2.7 and uploaded that instead.
