making wordpres the default for my site

    Hi,

    I’m developing a site, and am using both wordpress and SWCMS. I want to experiment with having either a wordpress front page or an SWCMS front page (ie when someone goes to http://www.thepeoplescouncil.com do they see wordpress or SWCMS).

    At the minute SWCMS comes up when you log in, and you can get to wordpress by going to a subdirectory. I want to reverse this, and have wordpress appear first.

    Can someone tell me how to do this. (I’d like to be able to easily switch between the two programs until I decide on the best combination)

    Can’t you just place all the wordpress files in the root directory on your server, and put the SWCMS in a subdirectory?

    Hi,

    You need to install wordpress on the root directory of your domain and SWMCS on sub directory of the site…Then set redirect to reverse from the current settings..
