   I installed this plugin and am using SimplePress plugin for my forum. I registered a user, received confirmation email and then tried to login but I got a Invalid Username error.

   likely you need to clear your site cookies

   I did clear the cache but I am still getting the same error up. I cleared it by selecting Tools, Clear Private Data and then cleared the cache.

   I have tried this on another machine altogether and the same error is displaying.

   I have a similar error in that the user name is blank after verification. Yours the same error?

   Same for me. user names blank after registering. Using with Sidebar login.
