    Hi,

Thanks for the new release – 2.7!

I know that for many people, WP POST REVISION and AUTO-SAVE can be useful but in my case I would like to have them disabled. And yet on my 2.6 installations I had to do it by using a plug-in.

Before I will upgrade my blogs in a few days, can anyone who’s installed new 2.7 pls kindly tell me that:

    1. Are revision & auto-save functions optional in 2.7 in admin-panel? Or I still have to disable them by using a plugin or altering ‘wp-config.php’?
    2. Are revision & auto-save functions still generating new post IDs in 2.7? (as: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/190825?replies=11 )
    3. If it’s not optional thru 2.7’s admin-panel, can I use the same plug-in/method of 2.6 on 2.7 to have them disabled?

    Thanks for your information!!

    SJ
