    hi kmesinger.. thanks for your post..
    I have tried and I need to put 777 before each upload, then back to 755.
    I am pressing my host to check if they can do something about it but so far no good answers....

    Since you tacked on to an old post, I am not sure where you are in this problem or really exactly what you are experiencing.

    I suggest, should you still be having problems that you start a new post with description, URL, etc.

    Change your upload path in your database under phpMyAdmin.Go under wp-options > upload_path and then change to the correct path.
