2.7 Edit Pages on Dashboard?

With the new features of the dashboard in 2.7 I am wondering if it is possible at all to add the ability to edit a specific page right on the dashboard for static content editing. I have several pages I would like to be able to edit directly on the dashboard for ease of use.

I looked through the codex and didn’t find anything specific on this or code examples on how to add additional options to the dashboard.

Wanting to know if there are any code hacks that can be implemented to hook into the dashboards screen options to bring up “specific” pages on the main dashboard for editing.
