   I was fooling around with the Appearance settings on http://www.urbantreefrog.com admin.

   I thought I entered an earlier http://www.urbantreefrog.wordpress.com/ as an outside link.

   But the site just displayed a raw "unformatted" layout.

   And worst, when i now fill in the name and password information on the Admin log-in, it redirects me to http://urbantreefrog.wordpress.com/wp-login.php (the wordpress site)

   I've tried everything i can think off... including replacing, then deleting everything on the http://www.urbantreefrog.com directory (via ftp) to start afresh, but it still redirects back to http://urbantreefrog.wordpress.com/

   I can't seem to access the admin function of my original blog at http://www.urbantreefrog.com ....help please. Thanks.

   In PHPMyAdmin or whatever your host provides to see your database read your site URL. By the sounds of it you changed this (from the local wp dashboard) to point at the remote wp.com blog. You can only change this back from the database as you've effectively locked your self out.

   I got in... and it works! Now just to fix up the image links.
