Why wp delete name property of pre tag?

    I install “Google Syntax Highlighter for WordPress” plugin today.
    It needs the name property of pre tag,bug when I change to html from visual, the wordpress delete name property of the pre tag.
    This only works on pre tag, it made me mad.But why???
