    Hi,

I have created two products, added some details and made sure the stock button is selected.

Both of these items have my main shop page as their parent.

If I use [eshop_list_new] then I can see a list of my products ok, and I can play with the settings to show panels etc.

If I use [eshop_show_product] then I get nothing. No products shown at all. I can’t target by id or anything.

Have I missed something really simple that suggests that maybe I should give up and do a job that is a little less demanding on the brain?

    thanks.

  • did you set the correct id=’x’? (where x is the id of the page)
    e.g.
    [eshop_show_product id='9']

cough, splutter, er yes of course I did, mumble, shuffle of feet.

It appears to be working now.

I had not put quotes around the id number. cough.

    What an idiot. Sorry.

One last question before I start to flesh the shop out with products and test Paypal. Is there not a shortcode to show all products? I don’t want random products, and I haven’t sold anything yet so have no best sellers. Unless I feature every product?

Unless of course I am being thick again.

    thanks.

    🙂

Well [eshop_list_new] could be configured to show all, just up the number for show, the default is 100.

An alternative might be [eshop_list_alpha], but they don’t all show at once.
