issues with wordpress location (OSX, apache, dyndns) (3 posts)

Hopefully someone has run into this one. I have successfully installed wordpress at the following...

    http://phatatma.gotdns.com/~phatatma/

When it was initially installed, wordpress was located at http://localhost/, and it worked fine there. Then I changed it to my dyndns domain name and it worked just fine... but only remotely. I can log in and do anything I wish from a computer not on the same network as my wordpress install. Whenever I am on the same network, I cannot reach the site, not even on the computer that has the install on it.

I am using dyndns to reach my home computer, not a domain with space hosted remotely. Is there any way to make wordpress accessible both at home and remotely?

I am aware that this might be an apache issue, but I wouldn't know where to start looking if it was.

    Thanks

Might it have to do with a path name that should be relative?

What do you mean by path name?
