   Hello Folks,

   Although I'm very familiar with building static sites, this is my first attempt at using the Wordpress platform. I would appreciate a bit of advice regarding the following. -

   I have a client who has a static site already hosted with me, and they want to transfer over another domain for a site that is hosted elsewhere. However, they want to be able to edit the site and make updates themselves. I've advised them that a Wordpress site will probably be their best option and that I will try to make it look like a static site. (I'll cross that bridge later!)

   So that they don't suffer any more downtime than necessary, I've installed Wordpress in a directory called "blog" on the domain I'm currently hosting for them. I'm just wondering how difficult will it be to transfer the blog into the root of the new domain when it's ready to go live?

   Hope someone can advise.

   It looks like I fall into the category of "Moving Wordpress within your site"? None of the other categories seem to fit!

   Ooops, I found another reference further down the page - "How to Move WordPress Blog to New Domain or Location" Looks really complicated! :(
