Any one? Sorry I am so vague.

The styles are not loading. This is most likely a problem with your stylesheet reference. Check to make sure the stylesheet exists at the location vid/wp-content/themes/33module/style.css.

When I went to the absolute URL for the stylesheet, I got redirected to the main index page. Could also either be a 404 error or a problem with your .htaccess rewrite rules.

Thanks, ok I just check and the style sheet is there. What is the .htaccess rewrite rules you were talking about? Can you elaborate on this.

Also I can’t access my admin panel when I go to login it just redirects me to the homepage, I think these errors are related.

I think you are correct. In the top directory of your wordpress install there is a file called .htaccess. It contains the rules that rewrite the urls from what WP likes to the human-readable, SEO friendly URLs. Something is wrong with yours; it’s grabbing too many URLs and redirecting them to /

I recommend making a copy of the existing file, then deleting the original. Go back to your admin panel > settings > permalinks and select “save”. This will create a new .htaccess that should work.

If this doesn’t work, you will need to examine the .htaccess file for errors. The reference is available at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/ > select the version of httpd you are using, and look for “mod_rewrite”.

So I looked and there was no .htaccess file. And do it not letting me log into the admin section I couldn’t use the strategy brainycat said. So I copied over a .htaccess from another WordPress blog of mine, and the same problems still persisted. Any ideas? I am going to solve this!

Did you, by chance, change the blog url in Settings/General? If so, that’s the problem. If you and if you can’t log into the admin to change them back, then see the following video for directions on changing them via phpMyAdmin.
