i'm using wp audio player and it works great, but the thing is that it works only when i write the code [audio: songname.mp3] by hand..when i upload via media library and click on the audio player button in the upload library it isn't working..i mean that the click on this button doesn't put the code [audio: singname.mp3] in the link url, as it should be.
how can i fix this?

if you click on the Audio Player button quickly, you'll see the code gets displayed for a split second and then disapears.
I'd like to know how to fix this as well.
Also, i got the clip working the regular way but my clip sounded all slow.
if anyone has an idea why this happens too, please let me know.

I had battled this question for a while, and even tried to hunt though the code to fix it myself. After much searching, I found a patch that was submitted by user Abird. He posted it here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/179225/page/14?replies=531
Probably the easiest way to implement his fix is to copy replace your plugins/audio-player/audio-player.php with the fixed version he posted here:

My next questions is, why has this not been included in an official update?
