• The option to “Display at most X days/posts” does not seem to work properly any longer. It displays X number of posts even when set on days.

In addition, when creating a new post, the post-author is no longer properly selected. That is, the user chosen by default as author of a new post is not the logged in user, but the first user in the list.

In 1.2, users of the same level could edit each other’s posts. I prefered this behavior, is there some way to easily reinstate it? Amusingly, users of the same level can create posts for each other. This makes for an annoying situation where a user can create a post but not edit it.

Actually, perhaps it seems that the definition of “days” has changed? It used to display posts from X number of days, including days on which there were no posts. Now it only counts days in which there was a post. I prefer the previous definition– is there a way to make this an option?

Quirk 1: As far as I remember, WordPress has only (ever) displayed # days for any days one or more posts are available for. So if you had 7 days worth of posts over a 14 day period, it would still count as 7 days worth (i.e. the last 7 days in which posts exist).

This is an old issue and was resolved in the CVS prior to the Strayhorn release. You should upgrade to the 1.5 final and let us know what happens. 🙂

    Which is an old issue?

I’m using 1.5 as downloaded on Feb 28, isn’t that the most recent stable release?

Is there a workaround for this? Or a way to show only posts from the first day of the calendar week (as defined in /wp-admin/options-general.php > Date and Time > Weeks in the calendar should start on: [option list])?
