How do I get my RSS feed and exported posts to work properly, if they have an image in them?

For example, if I write a post with an image right at the beginning, the RSS feed will display this:

    [caption id="attachment_231" align="alignleft" width="176" caption="With Roots Above And Branches Below"][/caption]
Anyone who is in love with The Devil Wears Prada, well, I have good news! As you may or may not know, TDWP is releasing a new album titled “With Roots Above and Branches Below” on May 5th this year. Well, Shockhound.com …

An since my RSS is exported to be used in my FeedBurner and is used in other WP Plugins, I need it to either show the images or not show them and remove the image code.

    Help?

    Thanks 🙂

Are you really using phpBB style markup? May I ask why you’re not using real (x)html?

I’m not intentionally using it. I just import media, and add it through the edit post page. The rest is resulting markup. I guess that’s just how it’s happening. Maybe a plugin is making it happen? All I know is it works.
