  • Hi Grooby…thanks for the comment. I am guessing you are referring to ie6? I am actually working on the next version (currently at 1.2) which will utilize png’s better but I won’t be supporting ie6 as this is a diminishing market (finally) and a decade old browser. A first theme for wordpress from me, so this is a good testing ground…thanks for the feedback.

I really like this theme as well but after applying it to my site I do not get the side bar. I get the following error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_search_form() in /var/www/vhosts/stjudehero.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/pixel-blogging/sidebar.php on line 14

Any idea what that is about? When is the new version of the theme going to be released?

    Thanks

Hmm…Interesting you got that fatal error. That might be a wordpress issue because I just tested the search form in the sidebar on my theme site as well had a couple others test theirs out and everyone was able to get search results. Try again and see if it still does it? Does the other Search field at the top right area of the theme pages function for you? You can enter in a keyword and just press your enter key for the results.

Quick Note: I just uploaded a new revised theme and it’s waiting test and approval which has some adjustments and one major change. I strengthened the columns by removing the jquery method and used a table.

Thanks for the feedback… I will keep doing regular revisions to this theme as it’s the first one to be released and I am also working on a Pro version as well.

oh… I meant to say that for the call up of the get_search_form part, I used the exact code from wordpress’s own default theme and have not changed anything for that snippet of code.

I see an issue on the right side of images. There is a gap between image and border and the caption is wider than the image. I have tried to use firebug to see the issue but can’t diagnose it yet. See it here.

I fixed this…..I found some good captions CSS in the support forums and all fixed.
