   Is it possible to use the same blog layout format from the main index page on another new page at the same time?

   I am thinking to create a new column (page) on my website, and I want it to have the same format of inserting posts. I will still want to keep the main page of my website with the blog posts format, just wanna have one more other page to have the same function, but I can't choose to use the main index template when I try to create the new page.

   Can anyone help?

   Yes.

   I can't choose to use the main index template when I try to create the new page.

   That's because your current main index is probably a Posts archive/listing whilst you're trying to create a WordPress Page.
