   I have no idea why i'm getting these message, haven't found the answer in the existing posts so any help is appreciatted

   Same prob here. I've manually refreshed it, removed it and added it but nothing happens. It's also saying that, "Your sitemap is being refreshed at the moment. Depending on your blog size this might take some time!" all the time.

   Please update the plugin, this bug should be fixed now. If not, please rebuild with the debug build and see the Notices / Warnings section, there should be the responses from the search engines.

   well, it's working for now and faster than it was previously. I rebuilt using the debug mode, let's hope everything continues as normal from here on out. I've never had problems with this plugin before so this was a surprise.

   Yes, this was a pretty stupid bug caused by some refactoring. The pings actually worked, the result was just not returned to the user interface...
