• I’m new to WordPress but so far I have been hugely impressed. Keep up the good work guys. I am currently having issues with hyperlinks disappearing when viewing posts category view. If I view my blog in default view at (blog.adamhorne.com) all of the links in all of the posts work fine. But when I view only the posts in the “Webâ€? category (http://blog.adamhorne.com/archives/category/web/)I have to click on the title of the post for the hyperlinks to appear. Is there any way I can fix it so the hyperlinks work in all three views?

  • That’s really weird!

Sorry, I have no idea. 🙁

I heard, for the cubrick theme, all the hyperlinks in archive pages are disabled. I use this theme for my personal blog and this happens, too. I think you’ll need to modify a part of CSS where it controls the hyperlinks on “archive.php.”

I remeber, there was a topic about this. Perhaps, you could try searching using the keyword, “kubrick, theme, css, link”

Oh wow, looks like you’re right. I just changed mine to default to check it and yup, no links in categories. That’s wacky, why did they do that?

Hey, I know this is old, but I’m currently facing this same problem, did anyone ever solve this?

There is nothing to be solved, sorry. It’s a matter of reading the documentation – and all those from last year didn’t do it 🙂

If a template file (like archive.php) is using the_excerpt template tag – all the html tags are stripped; see:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/the_excerpt
Simple remedy: replace the_excerpt with the_content. Although that will display the whole post (as its name suggests).

Thanks for that. I guess it is about time I sit down and read the documentation. 🙂
