Hi,
I am new to blogging especially word press. I have my site listed in google web search, but it isn't listed in google blog search. How do i get it to list in both? My blog is http://www.sprogspot.org/blog. I have ping my blog with ping-o-matic and manually pinged on google site too. I have used feedburner too (http://feeds2.feedburner.com/sprogspot). But is still won't list, any ideas?

You say your blog "isn't listed". What keywords did you use to carry out a search on Google?

Am I correct in thinking that http://www.sprogspot.org/ redirects to http://www.sprogspot.org/blog? If so, that's the answer. Google has almost certainly indexed both urls but, as the content is identical, will only list one. I think that, by default, it will give the root url priority over a sub-directory url but that is just a hunch on my part. If you are also producing a Google sitemap, you can use that to define which if the urls you want to have priority but, either way, Google will only list one of the urls.
After all, what's the point of providing two sets of results for the same site?
